Accomplishments of the Previous Year

ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF 2010-2011


*Our Dance Company performed in Germany at a Gala Festival with dancers from Moldova and Italy and has received 4 additional invitations to perform in Europe & China in the coming year.

*Guest Performances with:
Youth Orchestra of Prince William County in collaboration with our Winter Concert.
 
*Invited to perform at the Orange Bowl for the 5th straight year.

*Our Students:
•Veronica Robertson won a full year scholarship for 2011-12 with Alvin Ailey Dance Co.

•Samantha Mellinger auditioned and was accepted into the Kirov Ballet and the Alvin Ailey summer workshop.

•Marrissa Kim was accepted into the Alvin Ailey summer workshop.

•Veronica Robertson, Samantha Mellinger, Katrina Chu, and Jacodie Cato attended a master class with the London Royal Ballet in Richmond.

•Anna Davis, Sandra Dull, and Sydney Sloane performed at the Kennedy Center December 2010 with the Joffrey Ballet’s production of “The Nutcracker”.
